Desexing
No your vet is not mean it really is better for your pet to be spayed or neutered.
There are many reasons to have the operation; starting with your pet’s health being fixed prevents many problems like urinary track infections, cancer, and hernias just to name a few.
Although it tends to reduce aggression it will not make Fido or Fluffy lazy. It is a safe and sensible way to discourage bad behavior like running away in the middle of the night and forcing you to run down the street in your jammies yelling here kitty kitty or get over her your stupid dog.
While most pets tolerate the operation very well you might want to consider how big your pet is after all they have teeth and you don’t want them mad at you. I am just joking they wont’ bite you, I don’t think. Besides didn’t I say something about reducing aggression?
I recommend getting their shots in the same visit because they make object to getting to the car for a while after that. Especially when you head for the vets office I know I would.
