I have always wondered what fish think about. I mean really do they care what kind of a tank they live in? Do they sit around in that little room in the bottom of the tank and say to each other “man are our owners cheap they musta bought this fish tank at a yard sale for fifty cents” I hope not? Any how just in case lets talk about fish supplies for a bit and see if we can avoid becoming the yard sale guy after all.

In this world there are as many different kinds of fish tanks as there are fish so let’s talk basics. You must first decide what kind of fish you would like and how many fish you will have this is important because fish will eat each other it’s revolting who knew they were cannibals. So at the pet store you should probably find out from the sales person which kinds of fish will be good to each other and not make their fellow tank mates into lunch.

Ok so you found the coolest fish ever and it’s beautiful and wonderful but it is also hungry so now we should find out what type of food and other supplies your fish needs.  I have found many books in my local pet store on the subject of fish food and supplies that were very informative, but mostly they wanted you to buy food A instead of food B so I read the box and if it sounds good to me I figure the fish will like it too, after all fish like shrimp and lobster too right?

Seriously your fish will appreciate a good sized tank that is kept clean and a tap or two of fish flakes once or twice a day. They are fish and as far as I know they really don’t discuss us at least I hope not!
