Your pet has fleas?

Fleas are nasty small bugs that bite your pet and you so you don’t want them not even for a circus I promise they don’t take instructions well and are very hard to see.

I can say that I have never personally had fleas (thank goodness) however I have had cats and dogs that did and they are awful. I tried speaking firmly to the fleas and letting them know that we didn’t take kindly to their kind around here but even when I put on my ten gallon hat they didn’t leave. I felt like Yosemite Sam talking to Sylvester the cat. Next I tried explaining kindly to the fleas that we had enough pets and unfortunately didn’t have room for them, this sadly didn’t work either. I briefly considered getting them to commit suicide however fleas are not very bright and they don’t care if no one likes them.

So I went to my friendly neighborhood witch doctor and he came over and chanted to them and while the fleas found this highly entertaining they still didn’t leave. Enter chemical warfare, flea spray, drops and shampoo, finally a solution that worked. So now my pets and I are happily flea free.

Seriously fleas carry diseases and any number of nasty germs that you really don’t want in your home or on your pets. There are lots of products these days to prevent and treat for fleas, drops, sprays, and shampoos to rid your pet of fleas and their best friends the ticks so be careful and make sure you and your pet are protected.
